Signing in reconnects you to the Ghost without waiting for a new WhatsApp link. Your album stays locked until you enter its passphrase.

Works once you've linked Google from a WhatsApp link (Privacy & retention → Google sign-in). Whisperboard keeps only a keyed fingerprint of your Google account id — not your email, name or photo.

What Google can and can't do here

It identifies you to the Ghost, so you can manage settings, pending photos and capsules.
It never unlocks an album. Albums are encrypted in your browser with your passphrase; Google and our server never see it.
“ghost forget me” or turning the Ghost off removes the link.
