How to delete your data

1. Data the Ghost holds on our server

In the WhatsApp chat with the Ghost, send:

• ghost forget me — immediately deletes our temporary copies of your messages and media, removes unconfirmed details about you, unlinks any Google sign-in, and stops using your content.
• ghost stop — turns the Ghost off for the whole chat and deletes its temporary data, pending requests and shared capsules.

Everything else expires on its own: media within 1 hour (or up to 24 hours if you chose longer), message text within 2 hours, activity logs within 7 days.

2. Your album

Your album exists only in your browser, encrypted. Open Album → Delete and confirm to erase it from this device. Repeat on each device you used, and delete any backup files you downloaded.

3. Google sign-in

Open Privacy & retention → Google sign-in → Unlink. You can also remove Whisperboard from your Google account at myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party connections.
